Sheppard is having nightmares, and panic attacks from the Wraith feeding off him. He keeps seeing himself as that old man, and is obsessively running, and training, trying to prove to himself that he's not that old man, but it's not enough, he still needs more, he needs to have sex.
In the middle of nowhere, John took over the running of his Family's Motel from his Mother, who 'lives' with him in the large house behind. John was obsessed with his Mother, and when she died, couldn't let her go, literally, keeping her body, and her alive by dressing and talking as her. When a young woman, Jeanne McKay arrives, wanting to stay in the Motel, John likes her, but his 'Mother' doesn't, and kills her. Jeanne's Brother Rodney comes looking for her, and John likes him even more, and something begins between them, but 'Mother' is just as unhappy with Rodney. (An Au version of the movie "Psycho".)
McKay asks Sheppard to turn on a device he *thinks* is supposed to help you stay awake but the Ancients never were good at labeling their toys and things always get lost in translation. Turns out, the artifact is supposed to enlighten adults to the way adolescents view the world. Soon after the device is activated, everyone in Atlantis starts to experience signs of going through puberty (acne, horniness, mood swings, and all the fun physical stuff). Major points for humor! Can include any characters, pairings, or ratings. Just for laughs.

Rodney McKay is a famous Plastic Surgeon, he's rich, naturally good-looking, and together with his Best Friend Carson Beckett; he runs one of the most exclusive Clinics in the US. Everything changes for Rodney in the form of an Air Force Officer that has survived a crash in Afghanistan, and his name is Major John Sheppard. He's been brought Home, and needs Reconstructive Surgery, and although it's not really Rodney's field, he wants to help. Rodney ends up spending all of his time with John, getting to know him, and for the first time, getting to know the person, not the appearance, he begins to fall in love with John. When the reconstruction is complete, Rodney has managed to put John back together exactly as he was, and John is stunning, the most beautiful man Rodney has ever seen, and his best work. Rodney wants to be with him, but doesn't know if John wants to be with him, because even though they've become close, John's a Straight Air Force Major, and will most likely be heading back to Afghanistan.
After the Wraith Fed upon him, Sheppard has been left feeling uneasy, something in him has changed, but he doesn't know what. Beckett can't find anything Medical; and Dr. Heightmeyer can't find anything Psychological, even though John isn't exactly open to talking to her. Maybe it's just knowing what's happened to him, but he still doesn't feel right in his own skin. Teyla tries talking to him, closer to understanding than most, but like with Heightmeyer, he doesn't actually want to talk about it. And then, what on any other day would have been a not unusual; and affectionate round of sniping and bickering with Rodney, turns into something nasty. John explodes on him, Rodney had his guard down, and isn't expecting anything like this, this aggression, and is actually pretty shaken by it, and others are too. Calming down, John knows that he needs to apologise, he wants to apologise, Rodney really is his Best Friend, and he didn't mean to hurt him. Rodney isn't holding a grudge, or being difficult, he didn't go to John, but he's worried. John finally breaks down, admits how scared he is, how scared he is that the Wraith has changed him. Rodney comforts him, he was scared too, but unexpectedly, John makes a pass at him. It's actually something that neither of them has thought about before, John hadn't been planning it, and Rodney pulls back, clearly taken aback. Now there's something very awkward hanging between them, and neither quite knows how to clear it.
John and Rodney were Ancients, and before they Ascended, they were together. When the time came, they Ascended together, but 10 Thousand Years spent incorporeal, just compounded that neither exactly. They retook Human Form to be together, but returned with no Memory of who they really are, and continued on to live Human Lives. Then they met, and travelled together to Atlantis, with only the barest remnant of what they were to each other, and a whole new Relationship developing, just as it did between them the first time around.
During the Siege, Atlantis dialled out before Earth could dial in, the expedition evacuated, and Atlantis was destroyed. Daedalus arrived 3 days later, but the city was gone, and there was no sign of any survivors, they searched for the Expedition, but Pegasus is a big Galaxy, and they were forced to return to Earth. The Expedition continued to explore, and find Taranis. Helping to save its people from destruction, they are able to procure the Orion from them, and plan to return to Earth. The journey will take months, and the Orion is barely operational, but everyone is glad of the distraction, and at least possibility of returning home. Everyone is very relaxed, lines have blurred, and Sheppard and McKay are spending a lot of time together. If possible, it's even more companionable than before, and they are getting closer.
When he was Infected by Elia with the retrovirus, and unbeknownst to him, Sheppard laid an embryo in Atlantis, that since that time has been gestating. It hatches into a version of Sheppard, that's outwardly Human, but is internally Wraith. It has all of John's memories, but they're tainted by the Wraith's instincts and motivations; it's John Sheppard in the state of mind that he was in while infected. It moves through the city, able to pass as John, interacting with different people, and one of those is Rodney, whose friendship it remembers, but can't define, and whose boundaries and lines it won't respect.
Rodney McKay was never involved with the SGC, and never went to Atlantis. Instead, he became a business man, and later involved in the IOA. So involved in fact, he was elected to take over Atlantis. Arriving though, he gets off to a very bad start with the military commander, Lieutenant Colonel John Sheppard, who has a big problem with Rodney being there.
"Straight" (lol soon to be bi) John fic. I'd like the story to deal with the dynamics between a bisexual Rodney and a "straight" john, a fic that ends with Jon falling in love with the socially inept Rodney. Rodney should come from a neglectful family and have low-self esteem, John's attraction should definitely develop gradually. This should not be a rushed fic, the longer the better. And as a personal challenge, id really like it if the fic can somehow end in DisneyLand. lol, looking forward to any stories.
I was thinking something along the lines of 'Gladiator'. Ronon and John should not know each other in the beginning. Following loosely the story line of 'Gladiator' Ronon (and maybe John as well) is forced to fight for his life in some kind of arena as a gladiator (He is a slave of course to the empire. Be it the Roman Empire or any fictional created alien empire on a strange planet, I do not care) . I imagined John being a captured 'German or whatever' tribe's leader who is very proud and will not bow easily to his new masters at which hands he has to suffer a great deal of pain (torture, humiliation, rape etc... the more shep-whump the better). Ronon takes one look at him and decides that he wants him (He's also quite raptured and fascinated by John's willpower and pride and the way he fights against his capturers). But of course (at this point of time) John would never ever allow another man to touch him without at least killing that man in the process. Their masters on the other hand think it an appropriate punishment for John to be thrown in a cell with a huge man that is likely to rape him. But Ronon is a man of honour and would never take someone without their consent so there is a long journey ahead of those two in which John needs to gain trust and to learn how to love Ronon and Ronon needs to control his raging desire for the man who's in such close proximity to him. Eventually they should end up together (I want some happy fluff moments) but the end of this story can be either happy or sad. I do not care if there is an occasional OOC-moment...in an AU like this that has to be expected. Both John and Ronon shouldn't be too civilised meaning that there can be the one or the other primitive cave-man trait to their characters (we are talking about a society that has slaves and warriors, right? Lot's of wild men running around). Maybe some communication problems can be added (crated by the many different languages and cultures). I like to see all of the stargate characters filling in even the smallest roles so feel free to use whatever SG-1 and SGA folks you want. I love to read long stories (of epic proportions) so please don't make this a short-story. Also I'm a history-freak and appreciate properly researched AU's that deal with the past...(of course that doesn't mean that there has to be a ton of facts in this fanfic! there don't have to be any at all but IF there are I would like them to be correct... but in the case that this story takes place on another planet the history of Earth doesn't matter anyway so who cares?) NC-17 please?? Other pairings are also welcomed! I can't think of any (other) restrictions so I'll leave it like this...
Sheppard has never been more embarrassed, he's contracted an STD, from an indiscretion off world, and it's highly contagious, he even set off Atlantis' sensors with it. Beckett has quarantined John off in his quarters, with instructions that he stay there for the foreseeable future. McKay can't resist visiting John; and takes great pleasure in teasing him. What he's not expecting is that his brief visit causes him to contract the same disease, and Beckett confines them both to John's quarters.
I would like to see a story where Carson has military training and/or special ops training but is hiding his former life and skills and is "only a Doctor".Something happens Offworld and Carson is forced to use his skills. How will the rest of the team react and why did Carson hide his past? Could be Gen or Slash(Beckett/McKay or Beckett/Sheppard or McKay/Beckett/Sheppard)
John Sheppard's Marriage was in trouble, and to please his Wife, he agreed to a Threesome with another man. John has never been with another man before, never wanted to be, and since he's in the Military, if anyone were to ever find out, the consequences would be severe. John's Wife is now using that threat against him, to degrade John, and force him to engage in further acts with men. John is miserable, and more broken than he could ever imagine being, made worse that one of the men that John's Wife brings home completely freaks at the prospect, and bolts, but when John bumps into that man, Rodney McKay, they've been left with enough to talk about, to be able to strike up a Friendship.
Working from the alternate dimension's Lieutenant Colonel Samantha Carter report, and now that Earth is protected from the Ori, the government feel justified in exploring the Pegasus Galaxy for technology to fight them with. Their only ZPM was depleted fighting the Ori, so are taking Daedalus to reach Atlantis. Everyone on the planet knows about the Ori, the Stargate, and the Ancient Outpost, but John Sheppard found out about it before most, when he had to fly Jack O’Neill out there, just in time to use it to save the planet! It's also there that John found that he had the Ancient gene, meaning that O'Neill could stay on Earth, and Sheppard could go to Atlantis. No one was particularly happy with that decision, but Carter's report said that Sheppard was already there in her reality anyway. In fact, most of the members of the expedition are those mentioned in Carter's report, those who are still alive anyway, and one of those members is Rodney McKay. It will take a couple of weeks to reach the Pegasus Galaxy, and Sheppard and McKay have nothing else to do but get to know each other.
John Sheppard and Rodney McKay grew up in the same small Town; they played together as children, went to school together, and finally fell in Love. John wanted to fly, something that the small Planes available to him, allowed him to do, but Rodney wanted to further his education, and that meant leaving, for a long time, and maybe never coming back, because an education wouldn't exactly be of any use in his Hometown. Rodney leaves, he leaves John, and then with a Doctorate, and PhD's in hand, does come Home. John hasn't waited for Rodney, he's gotten on with his Life, and their may not be a place in it for Rodney, and it may not be what either of them even wants anymore.
When the Expedition first arrives in Atlantis, and before the Failsafe was implemented, Sheppard and McKay are in the Jumper, when the City begins to Flood. They're transported back in time to when the Ancients still inhabited the City, both surviving the Jumper's crash. They remain in Atlantis after the Ancients evacuate to Earth, in order to sustain the City until the Expedition arrives. John and Rodney have barely said two words to each other, but decide to stay out of Stasis in order to get to get to know each other, and end up getting on each others nerves, but there's also an undercurrent neither is willing to admit to. Their next time out of Stasis, and they're pretty much unchanged, rotating the ZMP's, they know that this is going to be it for their Lives, and again decide to remain out of Stasis, this time around, getting very close, and going on to live their Lives together. Rodney and John are found in Stasis, John is unconscious, but Rodney is lucid enough to tell the story. Rodney also tells the other John and Rodney of his Relationship with his John, who also wakes up for long enough to tell his younger self that he loves Rodney, and also tells Rodney that too before they both Die. John and Rodney don't know how to act around each other, being told that in another time, you were not only in Love with, but spent a Lifetime with someone, does tend to make things awkward.
Sheppard, McKay, Teyla and Ronon are preparing to go Offworld, when someone comes through the Gate unscheduled. Rodney McKay comes through the Gate, and it is definitely Rodney, only he's much older. His Wormhole hit a Solar Flare, and sent him back in time; he explains that he just destroyed his Atlantis. The Wraith had taken the City, Rodney himself had been Fed upon, and it was the only choice, but throughout the meeting, this Rodney can't take his eyes off of Sheppard. John is made a little uncomfortable, and Future Rodney admits that his Sheppard was killed, but there's also something more. Talking to Future Rodney privately, he tells John that they had been together, and that his John had died saving his Life, had died saving everyone's lives. John is spending a lot of time with Future Rodney, it's Rodney, but he's tempered, the way he speaks to John, is so easy, and so comfortable, for both of them, and they get very close, but Future Rodney is Dying, and John is desperate to find another Wraith, to reverse the Feeding, like it was reversed for him. Future Rodney Dies, after an undisclosed amount of intimacy between them, John is left with things unresolved, and his own Rodney having been pushed entirely to the side throughout his Counterpart's visit.
This takes place after the events of Doranda. No one could easily forgive McKyy for what he ahas done with the solar system; and as such are making it so hard for him to be on Atlantis. Contemplating leaving for Earth, McKay does one last bit of rsearch with an Ancient device...that sends him to an Alternate Demention where his counterpart died, and all of the people on Atlantis icluding John Sheppard, Teyla, Ronan and Elizabeth are Ancients! Everyone in this Alternate Demension loves him, and everyone is unbelievably nice to one another. Weir, Teyla, and Ronan treats him like true family, and Sheppard, who has feelings for him, starts a relationship with him. All is too good to be true; so what happens when Rodney's own team from his Original Dimension comes for him?
