what an awesome addition to the series! loved Larrin and her brother and their alliance with John and Rodney, the conflict in Briscoe and the hunt. the interesting mythos of the Travelers, too! you have such a fascinating brain. :)))

I love the fantasy twist you have this. When I first started reading, I thought this fic would be about John and Rodney camping and then stumbling on a creepy Stephen King-esque community, but you totally surprised me with there wereanimal thing :) I love that John is a high born hanging out with a cursed, that he wanted to help Rodney learn to be a vargyr. I'd love to read the story of how Rodney came to be what he is, and what life is like on Atlantis with this type of society. And Teyla called John "My Prince", which I find extra interesting :P Love that you worked the Travelers in too, putting a slightly different spin on them. Well done!

So very glad you're back! Another wonderful story from your Project Atlantis universe, yeah! This is definitely one of my favorite AUs, and I'm so glad you're writing in it again. Just love your take on John as an Onca, and your God Bear Rodney is priceless. Looking forward to more, please, please, please.

This was great! I love the way you make conversations so smooth. I hope you write many more in this series.

I wanted to ask what would happen when John's father died? I would love to see clan Onca come to Atlantis but I admit I'm just plain curious about the clan dynamics and if John still has any responsibilities to the clan (or at least THEY think he does).
How have they avoided confrontation with other clans on Atlantis thus far?

Anyways once again you rock, and this was cute.

This was a giggle fest. The family interaction was just perfect.

Which came first werebear or Baloo and Baggy?

Author's Response: Definitely werebear because, well, Rodney puked on it first.... ;)

I just re-read this (again) and just asked myself- what happened when John's father died? It would be very interesting to see clan Onca visit Atlantis or something... :)
You rock!

I forgot to ask, does John get nervous or full out panic attack if he's in a room filled with rocking chairs? how about wheeled office chairs? I'm assuming Cracker Barrel isn't his favorite place to eat at, huh?

Author's Response: Well, since he doesn't have a tail, not so much. ;) Wait, let me rephrase that - since he doesn't have a "cat" tail.

LOL, so glad your muse is back! this is so hilarious. I wonder what would happen if Rodney actually brought his pet cat to Atlantis?

Author's Response: Here, kitty, try this catnip tea.... OW! Glad you enjoyed!

OMG! I loved this and the entire series. I second Sulien and promise to bake the entire metric ton however your muse would like it - or fry it. Please continue gifting us with little gems like this, or hope diamond sized ones if you got 'em.

Author's Response: Hm, deep fried dark chocolate? Would that be like fried ice cream? Oooooo. Well I do have an idea for another funny one with Rodney and John at Jeannie's for XMas and he's trying to explain to her that he gets very hairy 3 nights every month....

I don't know what your muse requires in the way of feeding, but whatever it is, put me down for providing about a metric ton of it. Keerist, I've not laughed that hard in a while. Thank you!

Author's Response: I think it finally went bugfuck insane from pain and lack of sleep, but if you absolutely need to feed it, dark chocolate will do.
