Loved the dream like quality and the team never understanding what the symbols could mean and what may have happened when they were unconcious. Was there a reason?

Author's Response: That was the 'mystery' part of the prompt - John (and the rest) were supposed to be mystified. Glad you liked it and thanks for commenting!

Glad they left the dream and the excuses behind. The reality will be so much better. Promise :)

Author's Response: I agree - it will be! Thanks!

Oh, lovely. What a fantastic piece to go with the picture! I love the dreamy sensuality of the whole thing. I`d love to read the aftermath (of course!), but I mostly wish I were a good enough artist to draw what Teyla and Ronon would look like. :D

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it - I love when an artwork inspires a story like this, one that just flows and comes together in a few hours. As far as the artwork, the artist was inspired by the story to do a Ronon and Teyla piece which is at : http://mashimero.livejournal.com/92639.html. Thanks for reminding me that I needed to add that to my notes. :-D

Very interesting story. Wonder what happened with Ronon and Teyla when they came too.

Author's Response: The prompt was 'mystery' so I'm afraid we'll never know exactly what happened. :-D Thanks!

Very hot! I loved the silence and languidness. Weird, though, too- what was it all about and where were all the villagers? But mostly? Hot! o/

Laura.

Author's Response: Ah, yes. That was the 'mystery' part of the prompt. I had to work hard not to give in to my need to provide the backstory, but John was supposed to be as mystified as we are. Glad you liked it and thanks for commenting!
