Damn, sad. That was damn sad.

Author's Response: I'm sorry. I was upset when I wrote it, as upset as John.

There's only room for three men in the room/space? Then how was John able to walk inside of it?

Author's Response: Hi, Sherry. I'm laughing now. This is a pretty good point. I should probably change that phrasing to "comfortably fit" three people who are busy and working. Standing room only, you could easily fit six, and squeezed together you could fit ten.

This is very powerful. I feel terribly sad for both. Rodney lost his life and John will probably soon follow since he lost his reason to live. Since he followed orders this time, it might well break him. Rodney's POV would be interesting. A follow-up would be too. I bet Rodney left something in the station computers. Some kind of closure would be welcome, though life is rarely like that. Nicely done! :-)

Author's Response: I'm thinking that what John will do is that the next time he's asked to follow orders, he will once again disobey and risk getting spanked by the military. He's rather fail trying then never have tried.

wow...heartwrenching. liked how the foreboding past tense tidbits hinted at what was to come...really sad

Author's Response: Thank you. If I weren't writing the story, I'm not sure how I'd be able to take it.

Oh... sniff... so sad. It is so Rodney, though. Poor John and Radek.

Author's Response: Thanks, Goddess. It was very hard for Radek to tell John that there was neither life signs nor any atmosphere left in the space station.

Wow, the ending was like a punch in the gut... Really well written, it would be interesting to read Rodney's POV as well. :) Oh, and I like the title, is it from anything?

Author's Response: Hi Mrs. Roboto, Thank you. The title is a line from David Bowie's "Space Oddity," probably one of my favorite songs of all time.
