Team naps own my soul. This is such a beautiful snapshot. Rodney comes across so sleepy-eyed and groggy in my head, and John's all nurturing and it's just perfect. And then Teyla and Ronon come in and its a lovely puppy pile of a nap and yeah. I heart this.

This was a quiet little piece - a nice moment in time. I loved the care they showed each other, and the team link they shared. It all seemed very much in character...

That last paragraph was really beautiful. There's a softness and a sweetness that really expresses the calm comfort of the presence of people who are your chosen family.

very lyrical. It reminds me a little of Patricia McKillip's style. Will there be more of the Ukani later? (I'm intrigued...)
Author's Response: I don't have anything planned, but there might be! I like the little culture I sketched out, and, as I realized later, we don't actually meet any of the Ukani.
