I went blind and then had surgery and re-gained my sight. I thought the part where you said he wished he would either just get better or go blind and get it over with was very accurate. It was like you had gone through it yourself.

*sighs* This is wonderfully written, I love the part about Sam being gorgeous and brilliant but very evil. The last couple of lines are beautiful too, I feel all happy and gooey inside. Thank you very much I love fics that make you feel the emotions like they are your own.

I liked the style of this, how each little chapter gave us a snapshot of Rodney's plight and his thoughts about it, before jumping things forward to the next snapshot. I loved how Teyla and John were there to support him (John especially- very hot) and how Carson kept trying. I was so glad that Sam was able to use the healing device.

Heartbreaking but lovely with how Rodney was able to "see" when he lost his sight. :)

Mmmm...angst, we loves you.

I love how this gave Rodney a new way to snark -- "Is your point visual?" Hee hee.

Very well done -- thanks for posting!

I am about three seconds from dying of massive squee! Seriously, this is awesome. How Rodney "had to lose his sight before he could see anything at all," and John and Sam were both note-perfect, here. Great job.

I loved it! Angsty and excruciatingly painful.
Oh, and thank you for the happy ending!
