Hee. Only Rodney could turn the wait for his book into something so tense and dramatic! Or should that be melodramatic? ;) At least John knows how to deal with him in that state.

Author's Response: He is nothing if not melodramatic. And at least he has John to relieve the tension :-) I just had to write this to pass the time while I waited.

Yes, having the military commander as your boyfriend has *got* to bring along a lot of perks!

Author's Response: I think Rodney would count Sheppard as a perk all on his own, even without the military commander bit.

Landry is such an unreasonable person! They could have totally scanned it and send it on the databurts as a compressed file! ;)

Author's Response: Damn you, I'd not thought of that :-) Still I think Rodney's old school in his own way and likes to read from actual paper when he's reading for fun. Besides, a book's easier if you've got your military commander boyfriend curled round you, his head on your chest, while you read to him.

LOL! It is Sunday morning and I am in the process of reading HP & the Deathly Hallows, so this hit home with me. I have lots of RL things to do, but want to get it finished soon so that I can look at news on the Internet, read the paper, watch TV, and go out in public without fear of being spoiled. Thanks for the cute vignette! Glad to see that our boys enjoy HP too!

Author's Response: Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. I was going to included more about the fear of being spoiled as it was out on Earth and not in Atlantis but then John came home and changed the direction of the story. He does that some times.

LOL, that was a fantastic ficlett and an even better surprise!!!
I would never have guessed "Harry Potter 7" was the reason for the unbearable anxiety. Great stuff!

Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it. I wrote it in real time as it were as I waited that last hour for the book to come out at midnight. I know how Rodney felt, except I had no Sheppard to distract me :-(
