Oohhh that's so lovely. And it fits right in to realistic canon.

Very nice. I liked the way John reflected on the waiting, and revised his idea that those doing the waiting had the easy job. I was pleased that neither he nor Rodney were too badly broken, and I liked the little scene at the end- it said so much about their feelings, but at the same time didn't really reveal very much at all :). Laura.
Author's Response: I think because John is so used to being in the middle of everything when it happens, he's just never thought of how difficult it might be waiting.

John had to play the waiting game, poor guy, it is harder on the other side sometimes *grin* Excellent story!
Author's Response: I figured it would be harder for John, since he's so used to being in the middle of things.
