Wow! Loved the physics and chemestry bits... you made it sound just right. But what about the jumpers? Don't they need thei radiation shielding? Anyway, cool story and mouse emanciaption? Yeah! Really funny!

Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it! The physics/chemistry bits should work... at least as well as real science ever actually works in the SGA-universe! A theoretical use of B-10 enriched boron is as radiation shielding for space ships as this type of boron captures thermal neutrons. This property also means boron could be used to capture the neutrons being released as the naquadah decays into naquadriah and thus prevent further decay (presuming, of course, that naquadah and its isotope naquadriah decay in the same way as radioactive elements e.g plutonium...). Borax is a fairly common compound found naturally from which the element boron can be extracted... I'm assuming they can find a source either in Pegasus or on Earth in order to manufacturer replacement bits for their jumpers... :)

Great story. I loved how John was swept along by Rodney no matter what they were doing; sex, pranks, crisis :). Said crisis was very intriguing, especially the solution. I liked watching John's thoughts and feelings as he gradually realised what he felt for Rodney and I'm glad Rodney, genius that he is, caught on quick :). Hot and sweet.

Laura.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked the story! I found writing John quite hard, so I'm glad you felt it worked. I have to admit to spending an inordinate amount of time on Wikipedia learning about fantasy Atlantis elements, real element isotope decay and the many and varied uses of boron! cep xxx

That was so great! Usually I donīt like happy endings (much), but after the horrible day Iīve just had this turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. And the got married, yeah! (Because the usually donīt do that in other ff). This goes to my favourites, for sure.

Author's Response: Glad you liked it - I don't think I could not write a happy ending... :)
