I told you I was hooked. *g* I've been reading backwards through the McShep here at Wraithbait and I just found this! Go you! Hot and funny and so cute - I can see why you like the pre-Atlantis idea. It certainly explains why they were joined at the hip from the very start. *g*

I really, really loved this. Your characterization, the flow of your story, the dialogs, ideas.. I think you just write the way I like it, so, being all selfish, I'll stick to your stories. =)

Well, you seem to have gotten the characterisation right here. I liked the banter and snark between John and Rodney. It's true that there doesn't seem to be much in the way of pre-Atlantis Shep/McKay, so I'm pleased you decided to write this. I liked the idea of John deciding to go because Rodney was. The Ancient to-do list was an intriguing little device too. Oh, and it was hot too :) And trust Rodney to be contrary! All nerves and rambling until John kissed him, and then, not so much ::rolls eyes, but in a good way ;):: Laura.

Terrific story. I thought your characterizations were spot-on, and very funny. I love the idea of John choosing to go to Atlantis because of Rodney. And Rodney's reaction, of course, was just priceless. Great stuff. :-)
