When I read the McKay/Sheppard widower AU's I always picture & expect John to be the widower. I must say, you did an amazing job with Rodney in that role. This was great. It made me think of WesleysGirl's wonderful _On Life and Living_ AU. Thanks for writing!

Lovely. I really enjoy this 'verse. Of course you realize now you are obligated to write a sequel called, "A Promise Kept."
