Yeah, I thought Jeannie was a little rough on, and unforgiving of, Rodney in this episode. Thanks for filling in the blanks.

PS Do men really find it that horrible to comfort, or see, a crying woman?

Author's Response: Well, maybe not *every* man. But in my head this one does. rn(Thank you so much for your nice comments! You really do work through all my stuff, don't you? This is such a blast for me!)

I meant to review this story and forgot. Hopefully I've made up for it by recommending it on atlantisfic. *g* Anyway, I also thought that there was a lot that wasn't resolved in "Miller's Crossing" and I felt bad for Rodney because Jeannie was left thinking that he had almost gotten her killed (which was technically true) but didn't know what lengths he had been willing to go to save her. I really like the idea that Sheppard would make the trip to Jeannie's to reveal this aspect of her brother's character. It ties in nicely with him showing that "Letters From Pegasus" video in "McKay and Mrs. Miller". Sheppard obviously does take an interest in the siblings' relationship and would be concerned if he saw it falling apart again.

Gawd damn that was wonderful. Exactly what even the show would show us if they ever got the time. But 10 times better cuz you did give us this wonderful bunch of words that just flowed and blossomed into totally rockin' storytelling. Yes bravery certainly does come in all types of packages. This goes in the keeper folder!
