Just one question: The title? I've never heard this particular combination of words before, at least not outside Scandinavia. Inventive :)

I've seen the term 'hold fast' used in older English novels, and I know that people use it in everyday speech when talking about something sticking to something else firmly. And that last quality was what I was trying to get across for Rodney in this.
