Nice job on your first ever slash fic. It was really well done.

Author's Response: Thank you very much - I'm sort of amazed at how the words just flowed out onto the page. It was a very weird experience for me as I'd never tried creative writing before :)

That was lovely!

I highly recommend you make more attempts at writing fiction, especially McShep :D

Author's Response: Thank you very much :) John/Rodney is my OTP. Thanks for the encouragement to attempt more writing, I'm actually working on a longer McShep story at the moment, so hopefully that will work out.

*claps* This is absolutely wonderful.

Loved how you used Hold Fast as the title. It was quite fitting.

Hope to read more of your stuff soon.

Congrats!

Author's Response: *chuffed smile* So happy you liked it. I'm glad you liked the title too - For months I had no real ending or title for this ficlet, until about 5am yesterday morning when they both popped into my head. rnThank you so much for your kind words :)

Love it :)
Just one question: The title? I've never heard this particular combination of words before, at least not outside Scandinavia. Inventive :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much.rnrnI'm not sure where the title for the story came from - it was late at night when I came up with it. I've seen the term 'hold fast' used in older English novels, and I know that people use it in everyday speech when talking about something sticking to something else firmly. And that last quality was what I was trying to get across for Rodney in this.
