rodney's floundering for a word, and the purposful use of "a friend" was beautifully subtle! And then his realization and everything and wow...

Great story. It was quite tense and worrying at times, yet the last scene with John and Rodney made it all worth while :).

I really loved Rodney's anger there at the end--so very realistic and so very Rodney. Rodney's voice was pretty dead on for the whole piece but I just loved the ending! (happy sigh)
