What a lovely story. The dance of emotion between John and Rodney was wonderfully shown, never told to the reader, which I love in a good story. I laos loved the way events played out over a long time, because while fast and furious romance has a place, so does long the build-up of this piece. Thank you for posting this.

Lovely story. I loved Bessie. I loved the process and the fun John and Rodney had building her. I chuckled at John's complete ineptitude with, and fear of, Jara. I loved watching their relationship develop, even when Rodney was so completely oblivious. It was distressing to see Rodney avoiding John and the confused hurt John felt by that avoidance. It was even more distressing to see the state John came back in and the time it took him to heal. But things got better again when John decided enough was enough and Rodney obviously wasn't going to get it without more obvious help *g*. Lovely kiss :). I also loved Rodney's observations of John in his plane and how he was different to Colonel Sheppard. Great stuff all round!

Author's Response: Jara was fun to write. I think I'm going to be disappointed in Teyla's real child, I liked her so much. :D I'm so glad that you liked the story and it all came out right in the end!

This was a way cool story and I'm glad Rodney finally figured it out and everyone was happy. Great job.

Author's Response: Rodney can be slow to buy a clue, but they deserve to be happy. Thank you!!

I used to fly small planes so it was nice to read about johns love of flying. I really enjoy all the detail in the story and the way you lovingly crafted it. thank you.

Author's Response: I just wrote my story, and then it turns out *so* many people are pilots. I'm glad I did my research. :) Thank you!
