Great story. I liked how you set it out, with AR-1's cliffhanger end of act, then keeping us in the dark, along with Atlantis for several acts. I was against Sam's decision along with everyone else, but I'm glad she learnt the valuable lessons the incident taught her. The Iss were an intriguing race, so completely different to anything we're used to, so beyond our ability to comprehend. It was bothfascinating and scary to see the team's communication with them. Loved their reunion with their own, and each others, bodies too.

Astounding. And incredibly, blessedly, original. I need an epilogue - I'm dying to know what knowledge they can retain and bring back - but - just - wow. Brava.

Wow! I'd sure love to hear their story though and Rodney explaining how to make a ZPM based on what he learned while an Iss would be good too. ;-p Thanks for writing this, it was great!

It had never occurred to me to wonder what if all the gates and planets weren't so close.

Kinda reminds me of some old Anne M. early Ship Who stuff, butmore interesting - perhaps due to the lack of pressure to provide sufficient similarity between species.

I hope Rodney remembers ZPMs.
