What an excellent story Meira! You have done Jane proud! (Although I'm sure she would have thought the kissing *way* too riskay!)
I think you need to write the sequel, however, in which Captain John Sheppard marries the coffee-skinned Princess Teyla he liberates from capture while sailing through Eastern waters and Charles "Chuck" Sheppard goes to apprentice with Dr.McKay and meets the lovely Miss Madison Miller...
What do you think? Please? PLEASE???
(Can you tell I really enjoyed this? I DID!)
Thanks so much for writing!

Author's Response: I don't ship John and Teyla at all, so I doubt I would ever consider writing a sequel along those lines even if I were to contemplate a sequel. But thanks for the review!

I really enjoyed this story.

Although I can't say that I am not too familiar with the works of Jane Austen (I have never watched Pride and Prdjudice!!)I feel that the style seemed to be right throughour! I found myself being able to see it in my imagination. I must admit the thought of Ben Browder as Cameron in the shirt and breeches did set my heart a flutter. ;o)

I also like the fact that you managed to get all the characters in in some way. I didn't think that there was too much Mike and Sam bashing. As you say, there has to be a few bad characters in it!!

If I have one criticsm of it, it was that it was too long. I had to read it in sections. I think it may have been easier to read if it had been in smaller chapter.

I just wish this could find it's way on to television. Jane Austen would never be the same again.

Thanks for an enjoyable read.
