Great story! The experiment was cruel and disturbing, especially the results! I loved how the team all pulled together and looked out for each other. I do love a story that has John being all deadly, but I also liked that little moment where he reflected on what he was capable of, too. I'm glad to see everyone on the mend. John may well have not realised just how injured he was, but I suspect he wouldn't have mentioned it if he did!

Laura.

Author's Response: In this situation I don't think John would have mentioned if he was hurt, but I'm not a fan of stories where he hides the fact from his Team--I find that OCC for him because when he's with his Team they have to count on each other and he would let them know if he was a weak link.rnrnBut this fic was a hoot to write, I wanted this to be one of those, they all count on each other to survive the 'monsters' except they were dealing with humans sadly. And I'm a big fan of solider!John but one when he's aware of what he's done. Thank you for your constant reviews.

Great story. You handled the characters very well--close to canon. Sheppard was heroic without being Superman. McKay was whiny but brave, as was Zelenka, too. I especially liked seeing other characters and what they went through. For once the Marines weren't nameless grunts. Loved seeing Miko armed and dangerous (but she still seemed like her canon character). The plot action kept me up half the night reading the story. ;) Very nicely done!

Author's Response: Thank you. This was fun to write and I wanted a tense, action, horror type story that could be viewed as a fast-paced action episode. This allowed John to lead his 'rag tag' band of people and get them all the safety while allowing the others to shine and all pull in together to save each other.

Thanx it was very cool. Love the team dynamics. How about a nice angsty mission with Chuck (our favourite Canadian gate tech) Pretty please... with sugar!! *Big puppy eyes*

Author's Response: Thanks, no Chuck anytime soon though, busy with two major fics right now.
