Okay, maths goes way over my head in even its simplest forms. I've tried, but no joy. That said, it doesn't really matter in terms of this fic, because I don't need to understand what John's thinking about to know why he's thinking it and I can easily see him getting into this sort of mood with Rodney and it also being something Rodney would appreciate and have the answer to. Hot and sweet, scary-maths and all ;).

Author's Response: I'm not so hot at maths either, but it seemed to me to be a great way for men to avoid actually saying the words. Glad you liked it. Thanks!

This is probably elegantly mathematically written. Don't ask me: I don't understand the math or math references at all. What I CAN tell you about is the use of words. It's beautifully written and obviously carefully crafted. I look forward to reading your more "English" stories.

Keep up the good writing.

Author's Response: I'll let you into a secret: I'm dreadful at maths. I was always good at geometry, but lousy at anything needing real numbers. But both John and Rodney are such geeks, maths is a language they will understand. I'm glad you liked the story. Thank you!

Everytime I read something you've written, I am struck afresh by your gift with words. This was beautiful in a way I can't fully describe and exceeded expectations for a 'simple' PWP piece.

Author's Response: Coming from you, with your own real gift, praise like this is something to really appreciate. Thank you! I'm so pleased you liked it.

Ok, all I can say is: WOW. I lovelovelovelove the fact that you used all of this math! It just... suits them! Love it. It's perfect. You are amazing. Thank you for writing this.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm pleased that you enjoyed it. You're right about the math suiting them - they're both such geeks.
