Yep, you said it: somehow dark and fluffy at the same time :). I liked this a lot. I liked not immediately knowing what was going on, not knowing why John did what he did. It was sad to see his sadness when he thought the plan had gone wrong, but it made his return home all the sweeter. Great reunion :).
