Poor Rodney, I can definitely relate. The bit with the Moorkan had me laughing so hard that now I have to go clean the teardrops from my glasses, though. This was brilliant, thank you!

Author's Response: Oh, that is *so* music to my ears. *beams in authorial pride*rnThank you!

Poor Rodney he did love his cat, it was sweet of John to think of him and to try to get him a new pet even if it didn't work out, it still brought them a lot closer *g*

Author's Response: Best laid plans of mice and men and all that. Thank you for your lovely feedback!

*"Yeah," Rodney snorted, "for what I can do. Not for who I am."*

I love stories that deal with this issue and this was really lovely.

Author's Response: Thank you! I can sympathize with Rodney on this one. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Poor Rodney, I felt so sad for him and John for trying to comfort him. I had to giggle when Rodney in his sleep reach out and scratch John's scalp and said 'nice kitty.' But I really laugh out loud to Ronon's remark about the primate and Rodney having similar personalities as he was raving about John getting him this monkey.

Author's Response: Especially the poop-flinging part! And now I've got this plot bunny buzzing in my head that suggests I should tell this story from the Moorkan's POV...so pleased I made you laugh out loud! Thanks for your feedback!

Sad but nice story. It was a good thought of John's for Rodney. :) And inspite of what happened with the critter it led to something good for them.

Author's Response: John meant well, but I don't think he really thought it through! Of course, all's well that ends well (at least in my book). ;-)

This was so funny. I gotta say though, John should have known better: a primate would not make a good pet.

As usual, I loved your characterizations and I laughed so very hard during the "meet the primate" scene. And the idea of Rodeny having a similar disposition to the creature was so funny.

Thanks for sharing.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I'd never tried a challenge before, but I had loads of fun doing it. And like Ronon, I couldn't resist the comparison. ;-)
