I enjoyed the fic. Although, Rodney should have had his wound treated in the infimiry, not John's quarters ;) And I like how you addressed the issue of Rodney dressing the wound on the outside of his jacked. Thanks for sharing.

Author's Response: If Rodney would have gone to the infirmary I wouldn't have had a story to tell :)rnrnWe were never told how serious the cut was, so I made the assumption that it wasn't bad enough to require surgery or stitches. I'm still glad you enjoyed it, despite the literary license I took with the story idea!

Great episode tag for "The Storm/The Eye".
Sheppard and McKay really needed to talk things over with Rodney believing he jepardized everything by giving in to torture. And he certainly had a point in stating that no one except the Major was playing by the rules in the Pegasus Galaxy. Seeing as they are depending heavily on one another on Atlantis, the scientists and military need to realize the classic role models won't do much good in this new environment.

Author's Response: *nods* Exactly! The expedition really are living in a constant combat zone and as canon has demonstrated, this was certainly not the last time that one of the civilians was put into harms way, threatened or put into the middle of a combat situation. It's definitely something that needed to be addressed. I'm glad you enjoyed the story!

Aw. I love it when they have their friendship moments like this. It's so nice for the two of them.

Author's Response: Thank you! Although I'm a slasher, I too love their little friendship moments - both on screen and in fics. I'm thrilled you liked it!

nice take .... great conversation. But you're really not done are you???

Author's Response: Heh...yes, I'm afraid it was just a one-shot. I know nothing about Marine training, never mind SERE training, and I don't have the time to do any research for it, so I'll leave that story for somebody with more knowledge about such things. I'm happy you liked it!
