I'm so glad to see you're continuing this wild and exciting story. I thought the first part was intriguing, but the second just blew my mind! I can't wait to see what happens next. It's interesting how well McKay and the alternate universe Sheppard work together.

Yay, part two :D! I love the interactions between John, Rodney and Annie. I'm beginning to see why this John is less confident than ours if his father was anything like General Maybourne! And is Rodney starting to see what the other Rodney sees in John? It was great to see some of these characters again, even if they were a little different than we're used to. And now Sam's a bloke? ::raises eyebrows:: Can't wait to see if anyone else has had a gender swap :). Oh, and I can't possibly not comment on Super Annie...I certainly wouldn't want to get on her bad side! Well, I look forward to part three. Laura.

Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! I'm glad you caught that bit about AUJohn's dad. I wanted to give folks an idea of why he's so different than CannonJohn. ...And I think Annie's a lot like those big, fluffy dogs. All you can see are the big brown eyes and the waggy tail, & you don't realize they even *have* teeth until they use 'em.... Thanks for your comments! wags, springwoof

Yay! You're continuing the story! Boy that was really great! Excellent pacing and I love all the little SGC touches. And the interactions of Rodney, John and Annelien are so perfect. I love this gentler John. Sam is a guy, now? I can't wait for the next installment. You will have another, right? You can't just leave them stranded. Please post soon. One thing. If your Rodney really is "our" Rodney, he can't drink orange juice. He's "mortally allergic to citrus." No oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruit. No pineapple, either. No Earl Grey tea - the bergamot used for flavor is citrus. I hope you have epi pens and glucose tablets in your supplies for Rodney. Just in case. Again, good work.

Author's Response: Glad you liked it! sorry about the oj. Knew about the lemons, but didn't think about all other citrus. it's been edited to a different beverage. thanks for catching it! wags, springwoof

How brilliant is this? Love Annie- she's really interesting. I like her 'magic bag of tricks' too ;). I'm glad Rodney didn't freak...hopefully this means he'll need to investigate matters further once he gets back to 'his' John. I wonder why this John is so much less confident than ours? Sumner sounds like he's always nagging at him, maybe that's the problem. I'd like to find out, and see what happens now that the door's open. Please update soon. Laura.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed the story and Annie. A sequel is in the works and Annie will appear there as well. wags, springwoof

I just want to say this is one of the coolest stories I have ever read. Ever. Your AU is fabulous, I adore your alien, the AU John is almost--but not quite--the guy we know (and damn if I didn't just want to hug him, poor, sweet, underconfident boy! I'm guessing he doesn't have the same level of responsibility in his universe as 'our' John does in the regular one), and the scenario is perfectly SG plausible. Did I mention I love your alien? Her handing a towelette to John had me LOL. What a fabulous creature. I dearly hope you're going to continue this. I really want everyone to be restore to their proper universes, not to mention 'our' Rodney do something about his brand-new self-discovery... Thank you so much for this. It was wonderful.

Author's Response: Thank you for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Yes, I wanted AUJohn to be recognizably John but recognizably *not* CannonJohn. And so, yes, in AUJohn's universe, he's more susceptible to what people in authority think of him, and his universe, Sumner survived. Glad that came through. Yes, a sequel is in progress. It should be finished soon. (hopes) wags, springwoof
