I really Really REALLY loved this story.

I always wondered what heppend to the younger cam in the picture at the end of continnum and I thought that this was a wonderful way to fill that in.

I loved they way that you had the information comeing to Cam jr. I was left wondering if this was being done because Cam sr hadn't gone after John and had regretted it.

This was a very well constructed story and I really liked the way that all the characters worked together. I also like the background that you made for John and Cam. It really worked and came over well. I also liked the bit of background you gave to Sam because that worked to and made me giggle.

This was a well constructed story and great to read. Thanks for sharing

Author's Response: I think that Cam Senior definitely wanted to make a move on John, but by the time he really had a chance they were it two different galaxies and then he was stuck in the past. He wasn't a monk or anything, mind, but by the time he started writing the Guide he wasn't all there in the head.

heh, yes indeed that was the installment I was looking forward to--thank you! I had a brief moment of needing to write John's half of this, but I laid down until it went away. :) I like that Cam uses the guide just as it was intended, but in a way, it seems to have supplanted his free will. I keep thinking about what if Cam had burned it to begin with? How would his ignorance color his decisions? (must go lie down again) also, I like the way that you show that history has already changed by the little details. great story--I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Author's Response: I wouldn't say it supplanted his free will at all. It probably colored his decision, yes, but if Cam hadn't wanted to do anything he could have ignored the book. For that matter, all the actual actions were his. He just had some extra information to work off of. If you check out "Making Waves", I showed there that it was still entirely possible for them to get together - just maybe not quite as fast.
