I like how hard/easy ti was for them to get into where they were. Great idea, and it made it easier ot get them out.

I really liked these last few chapters, because it proves how much they will go to get their people back, and how much they care for each toher.

I look forward to your next update.

Author's Response: Thanks again, Twinfetish. I'm working on Ch. 12 as we speak and I certainly hope the last few chapters delivers to the end. -- John

I'm only part way through this story, but I must review.

I really like what you have so far. The characterization is spot on, the plot is very soplid, and doesn't seem impossible, especially with the injuries that they recieved.

the interaction between Caldwell, and John, is great. I like how you are having them realise small things about each ohter, moreso Caldwell, than John. I also like that you are having us readers get to know John more as well, and his past.

Many authors brush over Afganistan, or his past, you don't, but you also don't over-dramatise it either.

I really look forward to reading the rest of your story.

Author's Response: Thank you very much, Twinfetish, for the detailed review. Feedback is always welcome and I appreciate your candid critique. I'm glad the story and its plot devices hold up for you to be believable. I always strive to keep my stories interesting and moving along without having to stretch or suspend the disbelief too far. rnrnIf you enjoy stories about Sheppard's time in Afghanistan, you might also find my series That Others May Live interesting. It's a series of glimpses of a young John Sheppard making his way through his early years in the military. It's an AU series of course and I'll be looking at him, as a character, from different angles... some as an enlisted man who chooses to become an officer/pilot a few years into his service time and from another angle of him already knowing that's what he wants to do and entering the service through OCS and Flight Training.rnrnAgain, I really appreciate your time - not only in choosing my story to read, but also in taking the time to review and leave feedback. Thanks very much. -- John

Complex.

I was initially surprised at the attention given to descriptive detail, but it finally dawned on me that since the story wasn't taking place in the city, on a ship, or on one of the standard Vancouverish planets a bit more effort was called for - and you certainly delivered.

Author's Response: Thank you very much, Gail. I also felt that more effort was called for in order to bring the reader into the story with our team. I'm glad you feel it was worth the effort and I thank you for taking the time to leave your comments about it. It's appreciated.
