Awesome story, I don't really go for Rodney/Carson but this was good!

Well, thank heavens Rodney recovered. I'd absolutely love to read more along this storyline. Does Rodney have to be grounded in the labs from now on? Or will he be able to continue on the SGA team once he's fully recovered? Do the medicines that they obtained from that planet cure Rodney, or will he live with epilepsy for the rest of his life? Aie, that man has so many health conditions before this, huh? ;) I wonder if he'd have a seizure when he let his blood sugar get too low and have a hypoglycemic reaction... Excellent tale. Look forward to reading more from you. ----}-@ Krys, blowing a grateful kiss to Mice for his encouragement

Author's Response: Thank you first of all. I'm glad you enjoyed. I am thinking of working a bit to fix up some parts of this that I feel are weak and continuing with the idea of Rodney having this permanent condition. I'll not give away any ideas just because it's just a twinkle in my eye now, but again, I'm happy to hear that you liked Closer (it was like my baby when I was writing it!).

Hunh. So medication before was only making everything worse, eh? Even anti-convulsive meds? Yikes. So IOW they have to wait until the virus is completely out of Rodney's system before they can give him medication for the seizures. Man oh man, I sure hope that Rodney doesn't have any permanent brain damage from the seizures... ----}-@ Krys

Author's Response: Brain damage would definitely suck, but everything hurts him so yes, he has to deal. poor boy. *pets*

Surprised that Carson didn't notify Elizabeth immediately. Get the rest of SGA-1 down to the infirmary for cautionary check-ups, depending on whether or not they'd all just come back from a mission recently. Ooo, goody! More! ----}-@ Krys

Author's Response: Thank you. Yes, Carson could but there's a logic. *g*

Oh my, that was so full of angst and heartbreak and so made me want to cry more than once. This one definitely goes into my files to reread over and over.

Author's Response: Aw, thanks. I'm glad you liked. :)
