Excellent story. I like how you showed how different Teyla was, how she viewed things differently, and didn't make her look stupid. I like that you had the two of them getting along so well. And I like the little glimpses you gave into Weir's past, and the glimpses of how Teyla views the sexes in general. Great work!

Author's Response: Thank you! I really love the ladies of Atlantis and there's just not enough good gen fic out there about them. :-)

I really liked this :) There isn't enough of girls-having-fun fic in SGA. I think you have Teyla being just cautious enough of offending people, while dying of curiosity at the same time. And her assumption? Priceless. Especially seeing as that's the explanation that seems to be trotted out by archaeologists/anthropologists whenever they don't feel like saying 'we don't know'. Good work!

Author's Response: Thanks! The girls on Atlantis really don't get to hang out enough, do they? Glad I was able to contribute a little to correcting that on the fic front. ;-)

This was lovely. I like the way you wrote Teyla feeling cautious about asking Elizabeth about Earth customs, and the little 'girl-talk' session they had sounded completely realistic.

Author's Response: Thanks! I had fun writing it and I'm glad other people enjoyed it too. :-)

You know, this has been one of those subjects that's tickled my mind thinking about them being stuck away forever. I get to wondering what happens when things run out, like mak up, hair dye, John's spiky hair gel, shaving cream, diisposable razors. I wonder if the Daedelus will have cargo room for that kind of stuff? Ya think? Nice job of Teyla nd Weir interacting. I'm not sure they've ever really done it in such apersonal way on the series.

Author's Response: Probably the closest they've come to it is the balcony scene in "Suspicion" when Teyla's watching the rest of the Athosians leave, but yeah...the boys get to bond, why shouldn't the girls? ;-) And glad you liked it! *giggles at the thought of Daedelus having whole cargo bays packed with Mary Kay or something* ;-)
