wow, this was brilliant! i can't wait to see what happens next! this is actually my first story i'v read on this sight! its very much the type i would enjoy on other sites, i'm glad i found it! thank you. i hope you finish!

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it, so far. I usually try to update this at least twice a month, more if I have the opportunity. I'm in the midst of working on the next chapter now, and while I have an overall idea of where I ultimately want the story to go, the characters took over a long time ago and they're driving, so I'm as eager as you to find out what happens next. :)

I just love how you think and how you write; also love what you do with/to McKey so far;and your OC Wraith, oh how I looove that guy, he has just the right amount of depth and sassiness..Of course, now I want more :) pleaseeee

Author's Response: Thank you so much! McKay - actually both characters - are getting more of a beating than I'd originally planned, but it feels authentic for the storyline, so I'm just going with it. I'm liking the OC Wraith, too. He's got that sick Wraith sense of humor going on, and I'm enjoying delving into some of his internal struggles, too. I've started work on the next chapter, and hope to have it up before the end of the weekend.

Ok, I suppose it would sound really wrong and really rude to say "HURRY UP AND POST ANOTHER CHAPTER" but that is how I feel. :-) This is a really good story. It is an interesting and original premise. Your insight and characterization of the wraith are exceptional. I like how you get into his head and make him 3 dimensional. Thank you for posting this!

Author's Response: Wow! I'm glad you like it so much you'd risk being both wrong AND rude. ;) I don't think you're actually either - I'm just happy you're enjoying it. Thank you! I found the idea 'fifteen months with a wraith' in the challenge section of Wraithbait, but it was just the basic premise. The person who put it up left almost all the particulars to the discretion of the author. The idea of a wraith on his (or her) own has intrigued me as a concept ever since I first watched 'Common Ground,' and wondered what Todd must have gone through in his years of near-starvation and isolation. (yes - that's a plot bunny I'll be working on eventually) I guess that's why this wraith character has so much to say on the subject, and why he's so 3-dimensional - because I never saw the Wraith as cut-out 'generic bad guys,' and so much of their story is still waiting to be told.
