Loved both of these.. loved the angst of John's admission that it was Sumner's laptop.

I enjoyed both versions but I prefered the first. Actually, I'd love to see a longer story develop out of the first. Excellent job.

I liked both of these very much. I loved John in scenario one, that little glimpse into his emotions, and the way he surprised Rodney. I also liked Rodney's response to John's pain. As for scenario two, ::fans self:: Such a great way to distract Rodney from his complaints *g*. Laura.
