I loved the grinning and teasing between John, Radek and then Rodney when he woke up. It really is great when Rodney's complaining :). It was good to learn that Jana was getting better and that several of her *unofficial* family remained, especially when it was discovered that Oolosh was gone :(. The goodbye scene was both sad and happy. Happy that they were all returning home to help rebuild but sad that Jana chose to go. I loved that Jana blew them a kiss just before stepping through. Laura.

Author's Response: thanks for reading the story all the way to the end, Laura! I'm glad you liked it! wags, springwoof

Poor John, it was distressing to see events finally catching up to him, especially when he was debriefing with Elizabeth. I had to smile at his antics while the nurse tried to stitch his wound. I know it was done out of worry for Rodney, but it was nice to catch a glimpse of normalcy in John's recalcitrant patient routine :). I'm pleased Jana's on the mend, though sad she lost the baby. But *eep* Rodney :(. He *has* to be okay! Laura.

Author's Response: you wouldn't see a scene like this on the show, would you? so it's a bit OOC. But then, the show has them just brushing off serious injuries and lifechanging trauma with no consequences...'cause it's a *tv show* and it has to reset to "normal" the next week...actual people would be more traumatized, i think, by some of the stuff the SGA folks had gone through...

Oh no, Jana! ::is sad::. I hope arson can save her, even if she has lost the baby. Surely you can't be so evil as to wipe out all of John and Rodney's women? ::eyes you uncertainly:: I loved Rodney's idea of writing E=MC2 on the dart, and that John could fly it. I hope they find some useful information from it, they deserve to catch a break in defending themselves from the Wraith. And what's up with the new ZPM? It's all going on now. I hope Rodney goes to the infirmary soon, just as soon as he's determined that the ZPM isn't immediately dangerous, he needs some medical attention. I'm sure John will insist once he gets back from the omega site. I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Laura.

Author's Response: thanks for the lovely comments. I'm glad you're finding it exciting. more soon! wag, springwoof

*blinks* Oh my, the hits just kept on coming in this one! Poor Suffin, and Seerga and the other women :(. And Rodney...I don't know whether to admire his bravery or shake him hard for being so idiotic...I imagine John will feel something similar. I hope Jana's not too badly hurt, or Rodney for that matter. I'm off to find out now...Laura.

Author's Response: I don't imagine Rodney felt he was being brave so much as idiotic, either....he was just feeling desperate to do *something* for his friends. And the knowledge that some of the babies being carried are (were) *his* may have been affecting him on some level as well...

*Eep* evil cliffhanger!!! I should have suspected that it was all going too well, but you lulled me into a fals sense of security :). I can't wait to see what happens next, and hope that John, Rodney, Jana and Suffin are ok. Laura.

Author's Response: Thanks for the nice comments, Laura. The pace will go a little faster from now on, so I'll try to post more briskly. wags, springwoof

More great chapters, Springwoof. I was pleased that Jana was their guide. I could feel the awkwardness of meeting her fiance. I'm glad John and Rodney were able to convince Jana that sex wasn't just about led to some nice hot sex after all :). Saffin's stories were interesting, and the House of Shame prison information was intriguing. As was the transport and the way it moved...right up Rodney's street for investigating *g*. I was glad to see John reflecting on the circumstances a little, thinking about the four children he's fathered and will never see, and how he and McKay essentially whored themselves for Atlantis. It's all turned out well so far, but it was nice to have that addressed. I absolutely loved chapter 18- almost a whole chapter just for sex, and really hot sex too. And i just loved cuddly John afterwards, and the fact that Rodney indulged him, knowing that John has been getting weighed down by the pressures of command. Hot and sweet :). I look forward to the next batch of chapters. Laura.

Author's Response: Thanks for giving very nice feedback throughout! I really appreciate knowing what worked for you in the story.... wags madly (knocks over a lamp, oops!) & gives slobbery doggie kisses...

You know I know a Jana and she looks eeriely like your character... This is weird. X.x

Author's Response: Oh wow, truly weird. I based her on someone I met once, but *that* woman's name *wasn't* Jana....

Yay, more excellent chapters :). I loved how the guys taught Jana and Seerga how to kiss, and how John conditioned all three of them so quickly with the hand-porn *g*. It was nice that they actually treated the women like people unlike most of the other traders >(. I loved Bates and Yamato's reactions when they came to collect Rodney and John. And poor Rodney- "Rodney of Arabia" indeed, heee. Looking forward to the next chapter. Laura.

Author's Response: I'm glad you're enjoying how it's going! thanks for the nice comments, you're making my day! more soon...wags, springwoof

This is great so far. You've really gone into detail about the customs and appearances, and it's made it very easy for me to 'see' this in my mind. And I love that John and Rodney can do this without any awkwardness or jealousy between them. Oh, and I mustn't forget to mention the sample sex!, hot :). Laura.

Author's Response: thanks for the nice comments! I'm glad you're enjoying it! wags, springwoof

Author's Response: Cool! Shep doesn't strike me as the kind of CO that would jump down your throat for every little thing. don't you think? wags, springwoof

Now this was very nice! I liked the amazing details when you described the culture of this people. And I give you two enthusiastically raised thumbs for not-jealous McShep as they handle the ladies. Who, btw, are lovely. I want to see more of this! ~Elena

Author's Response: So glad you liked! More to follow soon. Just wait! the not-jealousy gets better... wags, springwoof
