*stunned silence* wow, that was powerful. The parts describing the past made me feel cold as I could see it, (credit to your writing.) A touching story, showing a man haunted by his actions and by the creulty of fate. Thank you for sharing it.

Very nice! I liked the way we gradually learned about what Radek had done and how it had affected John and the others, and how they were back on Earth now. I loved the emotional stuff: Radek's shocked pleasure at seeing John again, mixed with guilt for both the original chair business and leaving him. Plus there was John's hope that Radek would let him stay, and his anger at Radek leaving in the first place. It was nice to see some humour too, just enough to lighten the tone a little, and I was pleased when Radek said John could stay. I also liked the little bit about English now being John's second language, and felt his relief at finally being able to understand it again, as well as his being free at last now he wasn't in the Air Force any longer. This packed a lot of stuff into a relatively short space, and I must also mention that I really believed they had been together, especially that little section where Radek knows that John is angry by his little body language cues. There isn't enough John/Radek fic, so it was nice to see this. Laura.

I adore Shep and Zelenka is my next fave character so, I adore this fic. Muchly. You created a very cool and believable scenario for what happened to Atlantis and to Rodney and John and you made me believe Zelenka and Shep had been lovers. I just really love it

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed it. I'm glad you believed the pairing - it's not an easy one. :)
