*L* I got about half way through it when I decided that they needed Elizabeth and Teyla to put it together. :)

I love it! Having just sobbed my way through one of the saddest fanfics I ever read, I really needed one of the funniest - which is what yours is! Part of why it's so funny is because earlier today I was trying to work out how to do something with some weird program on a guy's computer - and he was being SO unhelpful. I had to suggest he find the instructions at least three times!

Author's Response: Aw, thank you! That's so sweet of you. You certainly brightened my day. *hugs* I was actually thinking of this fic last week when I got a flat tyre and again, my mom helped change it while my dad was again, standing to the side making 'helpful' suggestions

Heeeee! Oh, men and their not-reading of instructions. It's so funny, and probably quite true, that even Rodney the genius can't build it :). At least John had enough sense to ask about reading the instructions...pity it didn't occur to him to read them secretly while Rodney was struggling *g*. Thank heavens for Elizabeth and Teyla...and just imagine the teasing it's going to cause *vbg*. Laura.

Author's Response: Thanks. It's true. No matter how smart the man, he always crumples in teh face of instructions. At least it's true in my experience. I cna SO imagine Teyla and Liz having a laugh with that

Been there, done that with the whole 'assembly required' thing. I know just how the guys feel. Good story. Brought a smile to my face.

Author's Response: I think it should be a form on entertainment - Watching guys trying to bluff their way through DIY while not reading the instructions. It'd be a hit with women everywhere

Aiiiiiihh! You write the best, really. I get really happy everytime I see your name pop up. Rodney's increasing state of breakdown was just plain funny with John, of course, just sitting there watching. The Ikea line was brilliant, and the ending with Teyla and Liz—so damn true! I'm not sure I'm making sense but this fic just made my evening:-)

Author's Response: Aw, thank you. You're so damn sweet to say that. Im all happy now
