Aw, what a wonderful remix, & what a wonderfully surprising change a different POV can bring! Thanks very much for sharing this.

Hi,
I read a lot of McShep fanfiction and I just thought I'd let you know that I thought this story was hilarious. it was sooooo good and funny and just so true, i can definately imagine Sergeant Sorenson voice in this monologue of his. So thank-you for the awesome story.

What an unusual POV to use! This was awesome! It's so rare to see fics written from the POV of one of the other marines, especially ones on earth who only have gossip and leaked reports to judge the expedition members by. And I loved the twist at the end when he realizes that he has a lot more in common with Sheppard than he thought. Well done!

A lovely backstory for that other fic. The last few lines were especially cool.

This was great. I popped over to read Zeelee's fic first (thanks for the link BTW) and I loved how this showed things from Sorenson's pov. I could see how it would look about Sumner if you'd not been there, and I liked the general thoughts on Marines versus Air Force and civilian versus military scientists. I especially liked the ending, when he realizes which office John came out of, and suddenly has sympathy for him and admires Rodney's loyalty :). Laura.

Author's Response: Thanks very much! It was really fun for me to take the existing story and twist it around - since Sorenson's an OC I was free to invent his motivation, which was a lot of fun to come up with (and which was based on a Marine ex-boyfriend of mine...)
