You forget, having had so long to get used to Rodney's contradictions, how it must look from the outside. Nice to see this addressed here, and I'm glad that Lorne recognised the trust shared between John and Rodney, the utter certainty that both of them have that the other man will be there to watch his back. I know I've commented on your other stories, but I somehow missed that one! It was possible, Lorne thought as he looked back and forth between them, that that had been the problem back on Ford’s planet. McKay trusted the Colonel, and he’d been stuck with Lorne, whom he didn’t know at all. Maybe that made all the difference. Wow. A very intresting viewpoint. I admit I do tno care for Lorne at all (I know I am in the minority), but here his voice works very well. Great job and thank you for sharing!

Yes, yes! You have it exactly right. It's great that you're take a look at the Sheppard/McKay dynamic thru the eyes of Lorne. There has been a debate of whether McKay was too over the top in Runner with his whining sounding like first season McKay. But I felt it was because McKay was teamed up with Lorne and he didn't know Lorne so all his old insecurities were back plus all the new ones he's learned in his time in the Pegasus Galaxy. I'm glad you wrote that in. Excellent work!
