I really like this. I never really could imagine how the would bring Aiden back... you did a good job of envisioning. I love the Beckett/Sheppard dynamic, you work it really well. thank you for writing this!

Poor Aiden, having to get through all the pain and anger and shame :(. I'm glad he's got John looking out for him; Teyla and Ronon too. I liked the bit between Rodney and John and how John only now sees what Rodney was saying. I liked how Carson knew to let John stay a while longer, isn't trying to make him leave even though John really needs to rest. Laura.

Author's Response: Yeah, because Carson never works himself to death. ;) I so want the show to bring him back and rehab him... but we all know they aren't that brave on this show. More's the pity. Guess you all will have to put up with me writing it. :) Thanks for the feedback!

Even if they get Aiden back, he won't be the same again. Your fic shows that particularly well. How do you recover when the recovery process itself is worse than the illness? Very powerful.

Author's Response: Ooh, thanks. I like that: 'powerful'. Thanks very much. And yeah, I'd love to see the show bring him back and try and rehab him... but I don't think the producers have that kind of guts. :( Thanks for the feedback!

Nice. I don't expect Ford to come home, but if he did, I'd want it to be like this. I felt that leaving Rodney off the vistor list was a nice detail. As was his observation and John's reaction. And the Carson/John! Squee! Do more of that! lol

Author's Response: Well, I've now done the flipside where he doesn't make it home... poor woobie. But like you said, if he did this would be the way I'd want to see it. I've done... well, rather a lot of John/Carson at this point. And I'm sure there's more to come. Glad you like my writing so much.
