I particularly liked this "Rodney was caught in some spell where he was another man, reckless, bold and unafraid to venture into emotional minefields-- A new person created by the effect John Sheppard had on him." "Emotional minefields" wonderful use of language.
Oh, this was simply magical :-)

Romantic and sweet. This story was very sweet, all the elements of holiday romance combined to make it satisfying as well. If you like snarky Rodney, be assured he's here. If you like wistful John, he's here too. The conversation and ultimately the resolution of Christmas wishes and presents makes you glad you like shmoopy McShepp. Sighing at the ending of the story is entirely appropriate.
