Oh, my eyes teared up. I absolutely love cats, and have been visited often by those that have passed on in such realitic dreams, it was freaky. I love your description of the cats, and Rodney's love of them.

damn. i'm a cat person. now i'm all snotty from crying over memories of my dead cats, commiserating with rodney. a really nice story.

Oh this was so sweet. I really could see Rodney worring about his cats as I'm a cat person too and worry about those I've had to leave behind. This was touching and sweet, thank you.

This story is tender, haunting, bittersweet and quite lovely. Oh, and there are cats . . .I love cats . . mmmmmm And of course John/Rodney. Double mmmmmmm
I agree with the other poster!! SEQUEL?? Please huh? I would send you kittens . . .
