WOO! Excellent job. I can't believe that Rodney actually walked away from his life's work to retire and play piano again. Excellent. ----}-@ Krys

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I really like this's really autobiographical for me. I left academia to go back to art school so I can understand loving something, but not being able to stay within it's restrictions anymore because of the politics, wankers-in-power, yada. I'm so glad you like.

Nice little snapshots of Rodney's life post-Atlantis. Kinda surprising that he didn't want to go back to Atlantis, but I was pleased that he finally started to play the piano again. I also liked that he called John and John arrived on his doorstep :). Laura.

Author's Response: Thanks. I had this odd thought running in my head about it never being to late to do what your first love...semi-autobiographical actually. And I really loved the idea of Rodney playing the piano again...probably stuck in my head because of springwoof's "Later On" series. One of the AUs they end up in, that universe's Rodney is a concert painist. Thanks again.

*G* Cool. Kinda sad Rodney never went back to Atlantis, but good that he got his music back. And John came for him! Thanks for this.

Author's Response: Yeah, I wish he had gotten back to Atlantis...which sounds weird since I wrote it that he didn't...*shakes head* way too tired. But music, yes, so happy he got his music...and John.
