Awww... I've heard it's very significant when you share your last Rollo too, by the way. I must now go and discover this McShep-inducing TimTam. Thanks!

Heee. I loved the huge significance placed on the sharing of chocolate, very Rodney. I liked that John caught on quickly too *g*. Some very nice snark and banter as well, I was chuckling at Rodney's acidic thoughts regarding slug-things, exercising and the world in general *vbg*. Laura.

Author's Response: Thanks for taking the time to comment. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

this is just so sweet (pun not intended)! i like this story very much, especially the "huh"-thing. :) thank you for sharing.

Author's Response: I love "huh". It's a multi-purpose sound. (And thanks!)

Rodney waited a few minutes, letting himself settle back into that familiar rhythm of long walks: right, left, right, sweat, trudge, hate the world. It was a simple pattern once you got it right. you totally gave me a flashback. that is sooo accurate. I spent all summer trudging through the desert, and that was my exact feeling. I also leave this fic with a strange desire for candy EXCELLENT FIC, thank you!

Author's Response: *beams* Thanks! Personally, that's how I feel every time I have to exercise, so I'm glad it worked for you too.

Heh. Oh the things that John and Rodney can do to each other with chocolate... *hums happily* Hunh. I never heard of TimTams before. What are they and where can I find one in the Washington DC area? ----}-@ Krys

Author's Response: TimTams are the best chocolate biscuit in the universe (or, specifically, Australia). Chocolate biscuit with a creamy, chocolate filling in the middle, all covered in a layer of chocolate. I think that these days, you might be able to get them in import food stores in the USA. If you get the chance, try them: they are *marvellous*.
