Is there any chance that you might do more chapters from this particular AU? Like maybe snapshots of what happened in that world before and after Rodney got there? How did everyone die? How did John manage to unite so many people? How did Koyla kidnap him? Do they ever get back to earth? I would love to see more from this.

Oh, this was excellent. The premise, with Rodney kept behind when the expedition left and the bleak Atlantis he stepped into two years later, was gripping. I enjoyed the snarking and bickering, the fact that Atlantis was mean to Rodney because of his attitudes towards John and the easy cameraderie between the remaining expedition members. It was good to see Kolya in a more heroic role, but I was pleased that there was still friction between he and John. Watching John and Rodney's relationship grow was great (and hot), but it did make it more heartbreaking when John left to blow himself up. So it was great that Atlantis finally decided to trust Rodney :). Loved the epilogue too, with Rodney deciding that John had moped enough *g*. Laura.

Wonderful story! I very much enjoyed seeing Kolya as a good guy. I wouldn't mind seeing the writers do an alternate universe show like this one (just one -- Kolya's also a very cool bad guy!). :-)

Woah. That was amazing. You did a great job at capturing the characters and bringing to life this whole 'what if' experience. I'm still awestruck at how compelling it all was. Hee. I like Atlantis with a personality. Loved it. Need to read more of your work, this was fabulous darling. *grins* *glomps* *waves*
