Oh my yes, so loved this and could feel for poor Rodney. I'll have to watch the ep again, but from memory I can't think of one reason why everyone was so dismissive of Rodney's words. And also wanted to put my vote in for the sequal, maybe John will have to work really hard to gain Rodney's fogiveness, if Rodney can forgive him. Not so sure I could if I have been dismissed like that by people I tought were my friends.

*Definitely* requiring sequel. Because for a horrible moment there, I thought Rodney was verging to the suicidal. And he really needs to find out that John *does* respect him, and care for him - and a whole lot more. Loved the whole piano-music theme in this story, btw. I think Rodney should somehow get to play, and John can tell him what he thinks. Then maybe the notes will not only start coming right, but he'll discover his musical soul.

Not seeing why this was categorised under slash unless it's going to have a sequel? Anyway, I thought it was a lovely look at Rodney. Beautifully put together.

Author's Response: Yes, actually. It's pre-slash, and will have a sequel. Eventually. Muses willing. (Well, one of them is...) Thank you :)

That was excellent. I really loved your take on Rodney's character, and his reactions. They seemed spot-on to me. Your description was brilliantly evocative, as well. It's been awhile since I've been able to read such fine writing. Thank you.

Author's Response: :) Thank you for your kind feed-back. I'm glad you liked it.

Sequel? This was really fascinating.

Author's Response: ...Thankyou :) Well. If I can prod the muses into doing more than glare at me for five minutes...
