Mmmm. Wonderful job. And I've wondered about that - whether there were people in the city who've been simmering in their suspicions and gossip; and since Rodney's so very in-your-face as well as in such a high-profile and powerful position, that he'd be targeted for a lot of suspiciom and blame.
Wonderfully written.

Nice. The tension was quite palpable and I was rather tense just reading that confrontation. Kinda wish I had someone like John when I've had that sort of confrontation in my life...his reaction was very much in character, I think.
