How Romeo and Juliette of them. I like the thought of Sheppard meeting McKay and taking him onto the afterlife. Good story...sad but really good.

Author's Response: *laughing* I never thought about it like that, but very true. It's been a while since I've read R & J and it was never a favorite (death is so depressing), but it's easier to understand once you've grown up and loved. I have a hard time seeing the McShep built in fanon and hinted at on screen as being able to go on well w/out the other.

Oh. That was wonderful, but really sad :(. Poor Rodney. I thought you got his voice just right as he reacted to John's death, trying to stave off the grief with the snark. This was a sad piece throughout, but then the end...that was awesome. I'm sad that Rodney was so overwhelmed that he couldn't go on, but I was also happy that John was waiting for him. Laura.
