Oh dear God, there really IS a movie? I have got to see that! Loved Rodney's pack of samples. Wonder what his excuse is for carrying it all round Atlantis, too...? Heh, someone should do Attack of the Killer Shrews. With the original coon-dogs-dressed-in-rugs as the shrews!

Author's Response: Oh, gosh, you've seen the Killer Shrews movie too? Loved it! Saw it via Mystery Science Theater 3000, which is the Great Bad Movie Mocker of all was a thousand laughs...

Funny! Although McKay must be dreaming of guacamole he makes himself since most recipes have either lemon or lime juice in it to prevent the guacamole from turning an icky brown. When McKay makes it, the batch probably is scarfed down before there's time for it to turn color. Red clam sauce uses lemon juice too, you know how it is with seafood and lemons. White clam sauce doesn't use lemon. Poutine is safe for McKay. No citrus in it. Gah, I guess I'm a little obsessed with McKay's allergies.

Author's Response: Yeah, I was wondering how long it would take for someone to call me on the citrus-in-guacamole thingey. Undoubtedly, McKay makes his own fresh, or has it made in front of him, under his strict supervision for citrus-free-ness. (that could be another reason he wanted fresh avocados rather than the packaged guacamole they would undoubtedly ship via the Daedalus...)

Oh, see, i assumed it was from the Christine Lavin song by the same title. Which, come to think of it, was inspired by the movie. Fun read! Thanks...

Author's Response: Cool! Didn't know there was a song...::goes now to look it up...::
