I have no problem believing John as virgin. I did have a problem believing the unicorn though. Lol! I liked this nice job.

Author's Response: Heh. Thank you, time and tide (waits for no one... my mind adds that automatically). Icarus

Author's Response: Thank you! I was stumped at first because Zoe and I both love humor, sex, and humor. I admit, I love virgin!John. Icarus

Great story. I felt sorry for John having to cope with Rodney's 'advice' and then the fact that it turned out to be sunglasses that had upset the creature and his being a virgin was completely coincidental. That was believable too, that John would choose to avoid sex completely so that he couldn't miss it, presumably because of his burning desire to fly. Still, that's not to say I didn't laugh at this either. I felt for John's situation, yes, but I couldn't not laugh at Rodney's helpful suggestions and glee :). Then there was the hotness of John's fantasy. I loved the detail John had, knowing each move Rodney would make. This is a man who's willing to finally put aside his long held virginity, me thinks, and by the sound of things, Rodney's more than willing to assisst :). Laura.

Author's Response: Thank you! Great response. You're right, and it's a matter of trust. If you read closely what John's imaginary Rodney says to John, well, John's using those detailed fantasies to get off, but also he's weighing the possible consequences, feeling out whether or not he can trust Rodney that much. He's not there yet, but he's getting close. Icarus

yes. God, yes. Believable virgin-fic, and it's virgin!John. I read Zoe Rayne's "Mythical" forever ago, and this is a great bounce off of that.

Author's Response: "this is a great bounce off of that." What a terrific way of phrasing it. Yes, a Remix does "bounce" off the original story. Mythical's such a fun story and left me with lingering questions. John? Virgin? How? And -- when do we get to the sex? I'm so pleased that that's what Zoe liked about this remix of her fic: that we could believe that John could conceivably be a virgin.

oh i love this! please write more! i wanna know if john's always going to be a virgin! evil grin!

Author's Response: Great, and thank you. I think it's a pretty safe bet that John's going to give up that whole 'virgin' thing. If you listen to Rodney in John's fantasy, he's already trying to talk himself out of it.

Oh, hee hee! The line He prayed he wouldn't have to blow away a creature that for centuries had represented innocence, because that would be just too symbolic, especially for the Pegasus Galaxy. had me ROTFLOL! wonderful phrase! Th e rest of it is pretty good too!:)

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, John would have found shooting a unicorn to be more than a little depressing.
