Nice scene! I like the dialog very much, and the fact that you've sent Shep to comfort Rodney's bruised feelings. John's foresight about their relationship feels more like something imposed by fannish hindsight than a genuine character contribution, but I can't fault the sentiments expressed--that unlikely friendship is the best thing in Pegasus!! Thanks for sharing. ^^
