Oh, boy; you not only put John and his team through the wringer but me too!
Breathless story-telling here and highly entertaining in a serious sense that matches the grave situation at hand. Plus, the aliases were a stellar idea.

I love your writing and imagination, and the way you keep raising the tension until one moment short of point-break. Thank you!

This was a dark one, but so well written. Such a joy to find a writer of your talent.

Interesting and sad story. Really cool idea about how the Wraith survivors blame and punish John, especially since they'd been looking for him for a year. I thought the most poignant scenes were the ones where he woke up every night and the nurse changed his sheets. It showed the monotony of John's existence plus how bewildered he was. And since you started the story with one of those scenes, you audience was a little bewildered as well. It gave a little inkling into how John must have felt.

Creepy, and chilling that what they accused John of turned out to be true. An excellently told story!

Author's Response: *grin* Thanks so much!

Poor John! This is a fantastic story. Thanks for posting it. It gives a unique angle on what could have happened - I often wondered what happened to the people of the City once the Wraith came and now I know. Great atmosphere.

Author's Response: This story has always left me feeling just ugh, so I've wanted to deal with it for a while and the idea hit, and it worked, so yeah, thank you, I'm glad you liked it!
