I enjoyed this story on SO many levels! I loved the feeling of knowing something John doesn't, i.e. that they're fictional characters and that's why their luck is so good, but I also enjoyed John's own conclusions about happenstance and it's relationship with being blessed. *whew - too much sentence!* I'm a physics groupie from way back and the convergence of physics and metaphysics has always been of supreme interest to me; I love the way you've merged all too human characters here with the greater universe in such an elegant way. I really enjoyed this! Thanks so much for publishing it!

Great story. I liked the overreaching arc of all the coincidental things that brought John to this point. I also liked the more immediate John/Rodney storyline. I felt bad for Rodney getting messed about, but I could also see why John would be so skittish. It was great that John and Elizabeth sorted the issue. I also loved that last image of John and Rodney sat on the couch reading the paper; such an ordinary thing to do, but pretty extraordinary in the Pegasus Galaxy to have the time to do it. Laura.

Wow. That's really very good, and I often think this is how John's mind works, in terms of outcomes and probabilities, given his aptitude for math. Very nice, and a chance to see a side of John that isn't explored much. Great job!

I've read this before, but it never gets any less cool. I love how comfortable John and Rodney are just being together by the end. It really shows the depth of their friendship and how their relationship has naturally progressed, even though, since they ARE guys, it wasn't exactly the smoothest of roads. ;) Wonderfully written, m'dear. ----}-@

I really enjoyed this, especially the Lorne subplot. And now for John and Rodney's "there's no such thing as a happy ending, but there'll be one that doesn't kill us" ever after :)
