A very powerful and dark fic dealing with a side of John that Rodney doesn't like but knows is a part of him and is necessary. I really, really liked this. Thanks

Author's Response: Thank you so much for letting me know you enjoyed it.

Great story. I loved Rodney's pov here as he struggled to come to terms with what went on and his own part in it. It's a difficult dilemma they had, how far to go in order to get Teyla back, but without going that crucial step too far. Who decides where that is and does it matter when all sides got their people back alive? I liked how the McShep was almost incidental to the story, but added just that extra edge between them as they tried to work out what it meant for them, John afraid that Rodney wouldn't want him anymore. I'm glad it all worked out for the best in the end, but I'm also pleased that you didn't completely resolve things, all of them (or, at least, John and Rodney) with things still to reconcile. Laura.

Author's Response: Thank you so much - the subject matter of this one was difficult to conceptualize, and I didn't want to make it too easy for them. But on the other hand, I didn't want them to be destroyed by it. I'm glad I managed to get the balance right for you.
