BWA-HAHAHA! *falls off chair laughing* Arguing about something that hadn't even been said, 'cause those two know each other so damned well. Oh, perfection! And shit, Rodney getting sick from exposure and shock, hrm? And poor John with his brains all scrambled from a concussion. Owies! Wondrous whumptastic job, m'dear. ----}-@

Author's Response: Why, thank you very much. Me, whump? Never :)

Wonderfully written and extremely insightful. Rodney as an unwilling superhero is just perfect. The unwilling part doesn't negate the superhero part in any way. In fact, I think it hightens it because it's when Rodney's pressed into circumstances that are beyond his control (or those that he thinks are beyond his control) that his inner superhero comes out. Anyway, I'm done with the waxing philosophical and all that, lol. I just want to say again how wonderful this was and thanks for sharing!

Author's Response: Oh, boy, thank you, thank you, thank you! You caught just what I wanted to get across - because Rodney doesn't want to be or think he should be a hero, it just makes everything heroic he does all the more meaningful. Now I'm waxing philosphical too!

Oh, my...that was incredible. I could hear and see it in my head as I was reading - you have a good grasp of the characters, and I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry a couple of times.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for a wonderful review. What fabulous compliments, you've got me all glowy inside :)

I think Rodney was a hero in his own right, and I enjoyed this story very much, even if it wasn't a McShep. :>) Thank you for sharing.

Author's Response: See, that's the joy of this - you can read the McShep into it if you want. I promise. I'm just never comfortable enough to write it in properly, so you can see it there if you'd like.
